Quick Flat Bread

Quick Flat Bread

Servings: 4 - 6 Flatbreads  

Prep time: 20 minutes 

Cooking time: 4 minutes 

Ingredients 

  • 200gm/7oz plain or wholemeal flour  
  • ¼ tsp salt 
  • 100ml/3 ½ fl oz warm water 
  • 2 tbsp of sunflower oil, plus extra for cooking 

Method 

  1. Place the flour and salt in a large bowl and sprinkle over the water. 

  2. Mix the flour and water together with your hands. 

  3. Add the oil and knead the dough for about 5 minutes until it is soft. 

  4. Divide the dough into 4 or 6 balls. 

  5. On a floured surface roll out each ball one at a time.  

  6. Cook in your Firepod for 4 minutes each.

Prosciutto Pizza

Prosciutto Pizza

Servings: 2

Ingredients 

  • For pizza base see our easy pizza dough recipe
  • 1 tbsp roasted garlic flavored olive oil 
  • 8 oz fresh mozzarella cheese 
  • 4-5 slices Prosciutto 
  • 1 handful arugula leaves  

Method 

  1. First make your easy pizza base. 

  2. Spread the garlic flavored oil over the base. 

  3. Pull apart the mozzarella and sprinkle around the pizza. 

  4. Tear the prosciutto into pieces and dispute evenly.  

  5. Cook in your Firepod for 4 minutes.

King Prawns & Thai Dipping Sauce

King Prawns & Thai Dipping Sauce

Servings:          8 

Prep time:         minutes 

Cooking time:   5 minutes 

Ingredients 

  • 2 tbsp Thai fish sauce 
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar 
  • 1 red chilli, finely chopped 
  • 2 spring onions, finely chopped 
  • Handful coriander, chopped 
  • Juice 4 limes 
  • 2 tbsp caster sugar 
  • 900g raw king prawns 

 Method 

  1. Mix together the fish sauce, chilli, spring onions, rice vinegar, coriander, lime juice and sugar. Stir until the sugar has melted.  

  2. Place the prawns on your Firepod griddle and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side.  

  3. Serve the prawns with the dipping sauce

Ingredients 

  • For pizza base see our easy pizza dough recipe 
  • 200g passata 
  • 150g grated mozzarella cheese 
  • 2 cans of tuna in olive oil 
  • 1 onion, cut into rings 
  • Salt and pepper 

 Method 

  1. Cover the pizza base with passata. 

  2. Sprinkle the onion rings, tuna and mozzarella and season to taste with salt and black pepper. 

  3. Cook in your Firepod for 4 minutes.

  • 2 tbsp passata 
  • 1 tsp of dried oregano 
  • 100g mozzarella cheese 
  • 7 Anchovy fillets, cut into small pieces   

 Method 

  1. Spread the passata over the pizza base. 

  2. Sprinkle over the anchovies and mozzarella. 

  3. Season with salt and black pepper. 

  4. Cook in your Firepod for 4 minutes.
