Neapolitan Pizza

Neapolitan Pizza

Ingredients 

  • For pizza base see our easy pizza dough recipe 
  • 300g canned tomatoes 
  • 4 tbsp olive oil 
  • 30g parmesan cheese, grated 
  • 140g mozzarella, chopped 
  • Dried oregano  

 Method 

  1. Place the tomatoes in a bowl. Squash them slightly and season with salt and black pepper. 

  2. Spread some sauce evenly over the base. 

  3. Sprinkle some parmesan and oregano then top with pieces of mozzarella. 

  4. Cook in your Firepod for 4 minutes.

Naan Bread

Naan Bread

Servings: 6 

Prep time:   20 minutes 

Cooking time:   minutes 

Ingredients 

  • 170g Plain flour 
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil 
  • ½ tsp ground black pepper 
  • A pinch of salt 
  • 125ml water 
  • 1 tbsp nigella seeds  

 Method 

  1. Put the flour, nigella seeds, pepper and salt into a bowl and mix together. 

  2. Add the oil and water and mix until the dough is soft. Leave to rest for 10 minutes. 

  3.  Divide the dough into 6 balls and roll each one into a thin disc.  

  4. Cook one at a time in your Firepod for 4 minutes.

Cooking time4-5 minutes 

Ingredients 

  • For pizza base see our easy pizza dough recipe  
  • 400g can plum tomatoes 
  • 2 tbsp tomato puree
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed  
  • 2 balls buffalo mozzarella  
  • Small handful of basil leaves and rocket to serve  

 Method  

  1. First, make your Easy Pizza Dough. 
  2. Drain the tomatoes and tip into a bowl and cut into small pieces. 
  3. Stir in the garlic, tomato puree and season to taste. 
  4. Drain the mozzarella and pat dry. 
  5. Spread some sauce over the pizza base with the back of a spoon. 
  6. Scatter some basil and some of the mozzarella over the base. 
  7. Cook in your Firepod for 4-5 minutes. 
  8. Sprinkle over some basil leaves and rocket to serve.

Honey & Lime Dipping Sauce

Ingredients 

  • Juice of 3 limes 
  • 3 tbsp honey 
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed  
  • 1 tsp grated fresh ginger 
  • 2 tsp soy sauce 
  • 1 tsp Thai curry paste 
  • 1 fresh red chilli, seeded and thinly sliced  

 

Method 

  1. Place all the ingredients in a pan and heat gently. Do not boil. 
  2. Serve with fish cakes or prawns cooked on your Firepod

Gluten Free Pizza Base

Gluten Free Pizza Base

Servings: 2 

Prep time: 10 minutes 

Cooking timeminutes 

Ingredients 

  • 1 medium egg 
  • 3 tbsp natural yoghurt 
  • 1 pinch salt 
  • 1 pinch herbs of your choice 
  • 200g gluten free flour 

 Method 

  1. In a medium sized bowl mix the egg and natural yoghurt together . 

  2. Add the salt and your chosen herbs. 

  3. Using a mixer or knife slowly add in the flour until a soft dough is formed. 

  4. When the dough has started to form, using your hands keep adding more flour and gently knead until the dough becomes soft and not sticky.  

  5. Roll out the dough into a round pizza shape. 

  6. Cover with some tomato sauce and your favorite toppings.  

  7. Cook in your Firepod for 4 minutes turning once during cooking.
